The victory with the state of the national players returning home without injury brought joy to Selangor FC Head Coach, Nidzam Jamil.

"We are happy with these three points which also keep the team among the top of the league. We went through a dramatic match against Kuching City FC in the FA Cup earlier back but this time we came with a very good team motivation and mood. We only have a few days to prepare the team because seven players are playing for their respective countries but for me, the most important thing is that they come back to the camp without any injury. This situation is very helpful for the team," relief Nidzam Jamil.

From the #SFCKUC match in the Super League 2024/25 yesterday, some important things can be seen, such as:-

The appearance of jersey number 90, Ali Olwan

Jordan's young player of the main squad finally made his first official appearance with Selangor FC in the #SFCKUC match yesterday. His presence has added to the impact in the attacking department especially with solid chemistry shown between him and Ronnie Fernandez. Although he could not play 90 minutes due to the fact that he had just returned from the Jordan camp, he came out with his first goal in the 67th minute of the match.

Azim Al Amin calmly guarded the goal

The Red Giants' new young goalkeeper of the season, Azim Al Amin, performed brilliantly in his debut game in the Super League with a clean sheet. The skill and technique that he has despite being 23 years old, helped him to perform calmly with the help of the team defenders, that was also excellent in the #SFCKUC match. For information, this is his second match with Selangor FC.

Umarbek Eshmurodov crowned MoTM #SFCKUC

The key player of the national defender of Uzbekistan, returned to the Red Giants camp from the call up with high motivation. The proof is clear, not only did he put on a brilliant performance but he managed to open his scoring account by heading in Yohandry Orozco's corner kick. In addition, his professional attitude is also something that needs to be commended.

So far, Selangor FC has collected 22 points from seven wins, one draw and two defeats.

The next match will see Selangor FC in action on the ACL2 stage, against a club from Thailand, Muangthong United FC at Rajamangala National Stadium on September 19 at 6pm local time.

Selangor FC would like to thank the supporters who came to enliven the stadium with the Malaysia Day theme specially made in conjunction with Malaysia Day which will be celebrated on 16 September.

The management of Selangor FC is grateful for this victory even though the team only got a few days to train with a sufficient number of players. Hope the team continues to perform brilliantly for the next match in Thailand.
